Un reconeixement sobradament merescut per als Rush:
The Canadian Songwriting Hall of Fame honours and preserves Canada’s rich songwriting heritage by honouring artists that have written songs that have entered into popular culture and been sustained for a significant period of time.
RUSH will be inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame on Sunday, March 28th, 2010 at the gala held at the Toronto Centre for the Arts.

Dels Rush només conec Hemispheres, de la meva època simfònica. Recordo que, al principi, no em va semblar un disc de rock progressiu, si més no del tipus que jo estava acostumat (Genesis, Camel...) però després de provar-ho diversos cops em va agradar força. Tècnicament són uns animals!
Doncs jo sóc del parer que Rush han millorat molt amb els anys (no em refereixo a la seva habilitat instrumental sinó en general). Concretament, des del seu disc "Counterparts" (1993) han facturat excel·lents treballs com són "Test For Echo" (1996) o el darrer fins ara: "Snakes & Arrows" (2007). Rush fa anys que no són el que anomenaríem una banda de rock simfònic (no m'agrada el terme) o progressiu, sinó un grup de rock clàssic, amb una composició i uns desenvolupaments instrumentals molt ben treballats.
